Nino Peterson
May 30, 1932 - December 10, 2021
Port St Lucie, Florida - Nino Arthur Peterson (89) of Port Saint Lucie, Fl (formerly from Raleigh, NC) passed away with his loving children by his side on December 10, 2021. He was preceded in death by his wife Joan (the love of his life) for 56 years. He is survived by his four children: Lori King and husband Randy of Raleigh, NC, Leslie Peterson of Port St. Lucie, FL, Joanne Sontag and husband Tom of Bogota, NJ, and Carl Peterson and wife Debbie of Port St. Lucie, FL. He is also survived by his six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. The most important thing in his life was being with his loving family which he adored and they adored him.
Nino was an IBM Manager in Raleigh, NC before retiring to Florida. He was an active Shriner, Mason and a Navy Veteran. He was an active member of Hope Lutheran Church. He voluntarily drove children back and forth to the Shriner's Children's Hospital in Tampa. He enjoyed fishing, boating, woodworking, bowling, travelling (at home and abroad), playing dominos. and riding his Harley Davidson Road King motorcycle.
Memorial Service to be held on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. at Saint Andrew Lutheran Church, 295 NW Prima Vista, Port Saint Lucie, Florida 34983
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Shriner's Children's Hospital in Tampa, Saint Jude Children's Hospital and/or Saint Andrew Lutheran Church HOPE Fund.

My sincerest condolences to the Peterson family.
We both worked for IBM for many years along with many mutual friends. He was one of the all time great guys. He was always very well liked and was one of my favorite people.
Rest in peace my friend.
