Ms. Pam was one of the most amazing woman I have ever met. She began to encourage me when I came back to track and field and when I moved back to Raleigh to train she welcomed me with a smile and a hug that spoke more than words could ever say. We shared so many laughs, tears, hugs and conversations over the past year that i am a bit jealous she gets to grace the corridors of heaven now. But I know that her homecoming was one that rocked the gates of heaven. Our loss is immense here but heavens gain is oh so great. Praise God for such an inspiring, courageous, strong, loving and absolutely fun woman named Pam Speight. May the God of peace cover you with His merciful wings and love as deep as Pams use to flow. Dear Ron and Girls,

I worked with Pam in Ag Economics for many years. We knew about each other kids and family. We were close co-workers.

Pam went to work in Athletics. She would call and we all kept in touch. Adra and I retired. Pam recommended that we work part time. Guess What? Pam got us all together again. I am helping out in her place now. I am grateful to Pam for all she has done in my life. She helped my daughter get into the Kay Yow camp one summer.

Pam was a wonderful person and I am thankful that she was a dear friend.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

I will miss her.
