I´m so sorry to hear of Patrice´s passing. We worked together at the City of Toronto and sporadically kept in touch over the years. Patrice´s laugh and smile are etched in my mind. It was an honor king such a lovely soul.

I got to know Patrice when we worked on a committee together at St. Lawrence U. I was in the early part of my career at the time, and Patrice was kind and generous to me. She was passionate about her discipline and her work with students.

My love to her family and friends.

Patrice was a wonderful person--ardent Duke basketball fan, feminist extraordinaire, master teacher, a wonderful friend, and wonderful conversationalist who always lent an ear of sympathy, generous to a fault, and ardent in her political views, never reluctant to make her opinions known. She was my closest friend back in the day. We went different directions years ago, and it was hard, to say the least. But she will be greatly missed by me and my daughter Zel who loved her very much. She became part of our family and will be deeply missed by us.

I was very sorry to hear of Patrice´s passing. We exchanged Christmas cards every year. Patrice was married to my uncle and godfather Richard LeClerc, my mother´s brother. I attended their wedding so many years ago. She blessed our family with cross-stitch Christmas placemats that I have to this day. My condolences to her family.
