I Just learned about the loss of Dr. Malone (Pat). I was a patient in 1989 and stayed with him until he left the Atlanta area. Even then, I flew to NC to see him. He was a scholar, author, philosopher, and a compassionate soul who reached into our hearts and minds while guiding us to do the same. We have lost one of the greats. My thoughts are with his family and patients.

Months after Dr. Malone's passing, I have still not sought out another doctor. Replacing him will just be impossible, so I don't look forward to finding another doctor. Although I only knew him for about a year, I cared deeply for him, and his kindness and insight were incredibly helpful. When I learned about his death, I broke into tears, and crying for someone I've not know that long is a tribute to what a wonderful person he was. I miss him, so I can only imagine how much his family does. Hopefully, it helps to know how much he meant to so many people.

You will be dearly missed. Out of all the Drs in his field, I have ever met with. He showed he actually cared, and sessions were usually 55 minutes but would often go over because, he was concerned, and he would listen as long as he could. My deepest Sympathy and condolences to the family.

Dr. Malone was a Joy to talk to, sometimes our sessions would go over by an hour or so because he was a gentile soul with an admiration for listening and understanding. I miss him a lot. I will never find another MD like him. Love you Malone.

I'm in shock, however I want to say that he was wonderful at what he did and he loved it!! I know that I will miss all of our talks for
hours at a time until he kicked me out very nicely at that and he will be truly missed. My condolences to his wife. He was a great man.
