WOW what an inspiration you were to us. I have never met anyone who has taught me sooooooooo much in the little time that I knew him. Your love, laugher,and kind heart and soul will be greatly missed and I know one day I will be able to see you again. You are a great person, Dad, and friend and I love you for that. Perry was called home just when we needed him the most. But if I know him, he will continue to watch over us being our counselor, mentor, supporter, and best friend. His love and friendship stretch across the land and touched the depths of our hearts. He is a true Angel of God and I know he has become his children Guardian Angel.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Perry's passing. I played football and attended junior high and high school with Perry. He was a good friend, good athlete, and good sport. He will be missed.

I am fortunate to have met LTC Perry McLeod over the past year, telephonically. It was my personal joy to start my early work mornings with someone who daily walked with Christ. I will miss my spiritual support from him, but I am comforted to know he is with the Lord. I pray fervently that his family is comforted by this fact also.

I am truly sorry for your loss, may the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your family. LTC McLeod was such a wonderful, warmhearted person, who never thought twice about giving his time to help others. Everytime we needed a desert during our luncheons he would always make his famous pound cakes. He will truly be missed by all, but we know he is where we are all seeking to be one day. I write this note with a heavy heart, as my life quest was made stronger by knowing that my Classmate PERRY MCLEON was on the path of honnor in his life. When I was in grade school, Perry and I played football and basketball together, and he was always a leader. I was made a better man just by knowing him. My only regret is that, I personally never got the chance to share that with him. May God shower his family with blessings in his absents, for this world was much better with PERRY than without Him.

Although I didn't know Perry very well, I will deeply miss him. I work in Jefferson Plaza 2 on the 10th floor and LTC McLeod always talked and joked with us "civilians" on the elevator and in the hallways. He always had a beautiful smile on his face that would light up the room. He was a gentleman in every sense of the word. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. May God Bless.

I've known LTC McLeod(Captain McLeod as I use to call Him) for only a few years, but I can Geniuely say that he's one of the Nicest people I've ever met or come in contact with. Mac- From the moment I met you in the OPS AOC, you welcomed me with that warm, personable smile, a firm handshake, and the advice to "get settled in" and "we'll take care of you" comfort as my team leader. You were stalworth in your love of God, your family, and the Army. Never a disgruntled word-only that contagious positive attitude, professional demeanor, and smile of reassurance. Our office "talks" were loud and full of fun- a stress reliever in a chaotic atmosphere. I miss you Perry. On behalf of the Brothers of Pi Lambda Lambda Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, I bring sentiments of condolence to Joyce, Joy, Juwon, and Perry, Jr.
Brother Perry was a well-liked and loved member of this Chapter of Omega, but more importantly, he was a devoted father and husband. Our last conversation centered on his desire to return to North Carolina on the weekends to be with his family. It was a good conversation that was sincere and heartfelt. Unfortunately, while the dialogue was significant, it now becomes more meaningful than before. On this day, all of my personal admiration for Perry now centers on that uplifting and manly exchange. That conversation has become one that I will never forget.
While many men take a knock in our society for not doing "the right thing", Brother Perry was a working, living testimony of a strong Black male doing "the right thing". People say a lot things about folks when their earthly time is filled, but for Perry his life can be summed up shortly- he was a good Brother, a good Friend, a good Father, and a good Husband and because of this his spirit will always be with us.
"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." (John 14:27)

Perry, I've known you for three years. When I arrived as a contractor to takeover the Desk, you gave me the initial training class. When the GO gave the Desk back to the Uniforms, you persuaded me to put my name in the running to be one of the Desk officers. We worked together for another year until we both were pulled to the Back Office. When my tour was up, you did the initial calling to help me find another opportunity. I'm back on tour now, looking for good friend. I'm going to miss you. My wife loved your personality at fisrt glance at the Super Bowl Party. Perry was my friend and frat brother. A gentle man with a humble spirit. He would help anyone at anytime. He loved his family and friends and showed it through his deeds and actions. The Lord takes only the best to that city so bright and fair...and Perry was the best. Be strong family through this very difficult time. Perry is looking down with that smile of his and we are all praying for you.
