I meet Robert 40 years ago when he started dating my mother. He was known simply as Dobbins to me and my sisters. Dobbins became a dear friend to me. I am so very grateful that he was a part of my life. He loved his three sons dearly and spoke of them often. He was very proud of each of his sons and the men that they grew up to be. Thank you Charlie, Robert, and Jimmy for sharing your dad with me. He will be greatly missed.
