I just received word that Bobby had died. I live in Topeka, Kansas and news is sometimes late getting out this far. I went to high school with Bobby at Southern High. Sorry to hear of your loss and you and your family will be in my prayers.

Was so very sorry to learn that Bob, a cousin of mine, has passed away. And the following family members of mine have asked me to convey their deepest sympathies as well: my brother Rocky Cook and 87-year-old mother Evelyn Ellis Cook, both of Jax., NC; my youngest sister Linda Cook Wrightson of Raleigh, NC; and my oldest sister Elizabeth Cook Glass of Tallahassee, Florida....

When I talked with Bobby in the fall, I thought that after his impending operation he would be fine. I am glad that we had this last visit. I am sorry that I will not be able to be with you during this very hard time in your lives. My thoughts and prayers will be with you all.
