Robert Saleeby Obituary

Robert Edward Saleeby, Jr., 66, a resident of Rex Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, died Tuesday morning, January 6, 2009 at home. Mr. Saleeby was a Viet Nam War Veteran, and a former engineer with the Honeywell Corporation.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 9, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in the Apex Cemetery. Mr. Saleeby will be buried by his wife Karoline K. Saleeby, who preceded him in death December 26, 2004.
Surviving are a daughter, Rebecca Christine "Chris" Saleeby of Fuquay-Varina; a son, Craig Edward Saleeby and his wife, Marlene of Carbondale, CO; two granddaughters, Jenna Karel and Regan Kareline Saleeby; a sister, Rebecca Slagle and her husband, James of Hopewell, VA; and two aunts, Frances Oliver and Barbara Graham, both of Hopewell, VA.
Those desiring to do so may make memorials to the Parkinson's Disease Foundation, Inc., Gift Processing Center, P.O. Box 96268, Washington, DC 20090-6268.

My condolences to you Chris and Craig and all family members in your loss. Ed was a pleasure to work with and be around, a friend for many years. Now his suffering and pain are gone. I'll be missing you, Ed.
