Funeral Service: 12:00PM, Saturday, July 18, 2015 at St. Matthew Baptist Church, 5410 Louisburg Road, Raleigh, NC.

Visitation: 11:30AM-12:00PM, preceding funeral service.

Survivors: Wife, Mrs. Nellie Fort Avery of the home; Daughter, Gwendolyn Avery Fisher; Sons, Rev. Dr. Ronald E. Avery of Garner, NC, the late Allen Davis 1, Esq. of Raleigh, NC; Brother, Julius D. Avery of Garner, NC, 7 Grandchildren and 15 Great-Grandchildren.
