Dear Charlie and family. I hope that love and prayers from family and friends will sustain you during this time.
The devotion the two of you had to each other was a gift. It was always so nice to see you both every Sunday in church.

Ruth was my sister that was so sweet and caring. We spent 80 amazing years together. We played together as children growing up. We visited as much as possible after we both got married. Ruth had 3 girls and I two, we spent many weeks together with our 5 girls. I had four very special sisters. Ruth will always be missed so much. She will always live in my heart. We had lots of fond memories. Love you Ruth!! See you again someday in heaven.

I am thinking of family during this time of saddness. I will always remember my days in school with Ruth. She always had a smile and that is the way I will think of her. Love and sympathy.

Such a beautiful obituary for such a wonderful lady. We all hope that just a small portion of this will be in ours. Mrs. Chewning left all of her family wonderful memories. Cherish all of them, keep them safely tucked in your heart and you will never be without her. Sending my love, thoughts, and prayers to all of you.
