Met Peyton 1966 at IBM. Remember talking of 1911 pistols with Peyton. He always stood out. Looking back wish had known better. Thru out years with IBM we lost touch.

Peyton Cason. Now there's a name that brought an instant smile and chuckle. I learned to recognize the jingle of dog tags before he got to my office door and remember the downward glance to say "Hi". Yes, he did things his way and all these years later, I still remember his teaching my daughter to spell 'encyclopedia' and my son about gear ratios. His memory will always be mixed with kindness, gentleness, and 100% "Peyton". I'm so sad I did not know of his passing until all these months afterward. I know his family meant the world to him and I hope there is peace with you.

Peyton has been the dearest friend for over 45 years. We never could figure out how we met, but know it was at Beckanna apartments where we happened to lived. Yes, Peyton could fix anything and his favorite saying was "I can fix anything from the crack of dawn to a broken heart" - and he could. The last week has been hard, but a song hit that must have unknowingly been written for Peyton. That song is "My Way". He is and was a very special person. He will be missed by all. Prayers go out to all his family. Keep smiling by talking about all the wonderful times with your son, brother, and uncle. The Cason family is a very special family

The cement block house was my early morning walk half way point. About then my back would give out and I would sit on his well roof to rest. He would always come out for a chat. Said he had a lady who did the same. Soon a bench showed up to make it a little more comfortable for us. Will miss Peyton and our our morning chats. Joe Ryan, Laurel Hills.

Peyton was a close friend of my late father. I have many cherished memories of him from my youth. Peyton was kind, friendly, warm and always had a wry sort of smile that let you know he had his eye on you. We should all be so lucky to have friends like Peyton Cason. My deepest sympathies go out to his family and friends who I'm sure will miss him deeply.

We loved Peyton and miss him so much. He was a great friend and neighbor. He was loved by all who knew him and all who walked by his house but never knew his name. He would do anything for you and always had your back. We hope we did the same for him. We loved his kindness, his smile and his heart. We will miss the little things about him too, like the way he always left us roses after he was tending to them. It always started my work day off right to find them sitting at the door in the morning. We are sorry he will never get to live out his dream of the farm in the mountains. We know, he is looking down on it and the rest of us. RIP, Peyton. Love, Denee and Peter.
