Adams family,
I'm very sorry for your loss, it's never easy to loose a loved one to death. During this difficult time remember to do as (James 4:8) says: "Draw close to God and he will draw close to you"

I am sorry for the loss of your family member. Sherilyn is in a better place now. My sister and I both have battled cancer so we understand how you may feel. Also in our family we have lost a aunt to cancer. My family and I will all be praying for you.

I still remember the Sunday that Sherilyn's mom first requested prayers for her at Asbury UMC. I was so touched and spoke to her after the service. I prayed for her many times after that day. Please know how sorry I am for your loss and that I will continue to pray for peace, healing and comfort for the whole family.

I would like to send a lot of blessings to the family of Sherilyn and even if I didn't know her in person which I wish I would have since I'm also a student of Millbrook High, just with reading her tough life it defiantly shows she looked at it as a positive way and she is in better hands now. She will be missed. She will never be forgotten in our school or in any classroom.

Dear parents of Sherilyn,
Words cannot express how sorry we are for the loss of your beloved child. We are a support group comprised solely of bereaved parents who meet twice a month in Raleigh. We truly know what it is like to lose a precious child and thus want to reach out to you. If you would like to learn more about our group, please call us at 833-4022. There is always a bereaved parent on call to talk with you, or go to The Compassionate Friends on-line and click on Chapter locator. We have a web site that has a brief overview of the group. And please know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.
With love and concern,

During her all-too short years, Sherilyn provided inspiration - she and Veronica were why I signed up to be on the marrow/tissue donor registery - and was a wonderful example of faith, hope and courage. We grieve with you over her loss, but at the same time rejoice that she is now an angel in that wonderful place which knows no pain or sorrow. May God bless and keep you, and provide you comfort and peace at this sad time.
Love,
John, Shaunna and Lindsay Prince

As I have stated in your CB GB, the love your family shares is inspiring. Sherilyn finally has her Angel wings which she so deeply wanted. I hope that your family is at peace and that our Lord grants you the strength to carry on as Sherilny would want. I will be thinking of you on the 27th. Much love to you across the miles.

Sherilyn, you have been given Angel's Wings and are now at peace with the Lord. While away this week, I had your same school picture with me and I talked to you over it a number of times. Your long journey is now over and all your pain, anxiety, and fears have been wiped away. We will all be joined together again some day as a family and you can give us the grand tour.
