Deepest sympathies to the family. Sherri was a dedicated volunteer and board member during my years of management of the PTA Thrift Shop on West Franklin Street (1971-76). The N.C. Crafts Gallery was such a beneficial enterprise as well. In more recent years it was enjoyable chatting with her at The Breakaway in Carrboro. Rest in peace, Sherri.

deep sympathy to you, sarah, and your family. you may not remember me - we were friends in first grade (mrs mcneill´s class) and we played at each other´s house. my parents (ned and judy smith) and i remember what a great lady your mother was. she encouraged my father to make art, and he is grateful for that! i think i remember this correctly that ethan and jason wanted to do something nice for your mom on mother´s day when they were young so they decided to wash their sheets - in the bathtub! peace to you and your family.
