Sophia Alice Pearce Privette, 86, died Friday at home with her beloved family at her side. A native of Franklin County she was daughter to the late McClellan & Bertha Medlin Pearce. She was a loving mother, grandmother, & sister who had a warm smile and loved to be with her family. As a beautician for over 56 years, she spent her time and care on those who came to her. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years; McLean Privette, daughter-in-law; Wanda W. Privette, siblings; Marshall Pearce, Hilda Medlin, & Melba Bunn.
She is survived by her sons; Berry M Privette (Terrie) of Selma, Randy L. Privette (Janet) of Youngsville, her loving and devoted sister, Theresa Finer (Ed) of Raleigh, grandchildren, Andrew S. Privette (Tracy), Todd M. Privette, great grandchildren, Emmett & Sydney.
Flowers welcomed or memorials may be made to 3 HC Hospice of Smithfield.
Funeral service 3 pm, Sunday, Bethlehem Baptist Church, Youngsville, with visitation from 1:30 pm - 2:45 pm, prior to the service. Burial, Privette Family Cemetery.
