Paul "Stanley" Coffey, aged 73, of Franklinton, NC died on March 2, 2015. Stanley had been battling increasingly difficult health issues at the time of his passing. He died peacefully, at home, with his devoted wife of fifty years, Linda May Coffey, by his side. Stanley was born May 30, 1941, in Caldwell County, NC and briefly resided in Baltimore, MD during the mid-1960s. He enjoyed camping, fishing, boating, spending time with his family, working with his hands and telling stories. He enjoyed blue grass music and picking his guitar with friends. Stan was self-employed as a painting contractor in Wake County, NC and the surrounding area for almost forty years. Through his loyalty and custom work, he built many lasting relationships. He was preceded in death by his parents Ralph and Beatrice Pope Coffey and his beloved brothers Larry, Jerry, Roy and Gene. He is survived by three sons; Paul and Chad of Franklinton, NC, and Jamie of Mooresville, NC, in addition to eight grandchildren; Ashley, Lindsey, Haley, Eric, Gracie, Alya, Austin and Addison. He is also survived by his brother Gary of Lenoir, NC. We will miss Stanley tremendously, yet take peace in the knowledge that he built a strong family and he no longer suffers from failing health.

A celebration in memorial of Stanley's life will be held at Unity Baptist Church, Youngsville, NC, at 3pm on Sunday March 8, 2015.
