Coach Steve,
Thank you for guiding us, loving us, and caring for us in every situation. You were a coach, but always made sure that we as people came first before the game. Your loving spirit will remain forever. Britny would be so proud of all you accomplished in her name. What a blessing to know that y'all are reunited...I'm sure playing some catch up there. You will be unbelievably missed. You have been and will always be loved by so many. Thank you for the gem of a human you were to everyone that came into your life. We love you coach.

Although I fell out of touch as we started families I would run into Stephen from time to time. When I did, conversation always turned to his wife and kids. Stephen cares for you deeply and wants the very best for you all. I pray you'll find comfort in the fact that not only did he love you all while he was here with you...he still does.

Stephen Puryear, what an amazing, supportive friend you have been. As your precious Britny would say, "and that's what's up". Shelley, my heart is breaking for you and your family. I am so deeply sorry for your tremendous loss. I have never seen anyone love their family more than your husband. One breath at a time my dear friend. Sending endless love, hope, prayers and healing to you all.
