Steven G. "Squirt" Bryan, Jr.

Raleigh

Steven G. "Squirt" Bryan, Jr., 28, died Thursday April 9, 2015 in Raleigh, NC, after being struck by lightning in a freak accident. Steven worked at East Coast Towing. In loving memory, he left behind his two children, Anthony James Bryan, age 6, and Anslee Lynn Bryan, age 4, and their mom, Ashley Denise Morgan; father, Steven G. Bryan, Sr. and step-mom, Angela Lynn Bryan; mother, Ella Fair Cagle and step-dad, Danny Cagle; brothers and sisters, B.J. El-ferkh, "Nappy" Rogers, Corey Coalson, Chelsea Bryan, Cassidy Bryan, Jessica Coalson, Danny Cagle, Trevor Bryan, girlfriend Katie Griggs and her daughter, Jaden Griggs; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Tommy El-ferkh. Steven was a free bird and he lived life to the fullest and will be sorely missed.

A funeral service will be held at 7:30 PM Wednesday evening April 15, 2015 in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home with Rev. Spencer Strickland officiating.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Steven Bryan Children's Fund at BB&T Bank, set up by Uncle Dennis. Thank You Uncle Dennis for always being there and taking care of me and my family even after I'm gone.

Friends may visit with the family from 6-7:30 pm prior to the service at Bright Funeral Home & Cremation Center 405 South Main St. Wake Forest, NC 27587. (919-556-5811)

I did not know Steven but just from hearing this on the news and reading about him in the N&O, my heart is heavy for this family. Such a terrible tragedy for such a young man. He sounds like he was an awesome person. Thoughts and prayers for the family. My sincerest condolences.

Steven, was one of my special students, loved his fun attitude. I am so sorry of your loss . He will be missed. Many of his classmated and teachers are mourning his death. I know he is bring joy to those in heaven.

Steven, I am going to miss you, your picking on your short aunt", I am still in shock that you left us way to early". We will always be in your precious babies lives and they will hear about their daddy. You left a part of you behind . Thank you for being an organ donor. Always thinking of others. RIP you are with your brother, grandpa. And aunt and uncle. Until. I see you again you will be missed. Love you Aunt Della.
