Steven Johnson

May 7, 1952 - February 3, 2024

Oxford, North Carolina - Steven Jay Johnson, 71, passed away on Saturday, February 3rd, 2024 from leukemia at the Hock Family Pavilion in Durham, NC.

Steve was a devoted member of his church, Peace's Chapel Baptist Church, and served as a Deacon and on the Building and Grounds Committee.

Steve is survived by his wife, Margaret Ann "Maggie" Johnson; his sons, Jay Johnson, Michael Johnson and Codie Johnson, and his brothers, Mike Johnson and Todd Johnson, nine grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Linda Moseley.

Visitation will be held Thursday, February 8, 2024 at 4-6 PM at Sossamon Funeral Home, 106 Clement Avenue, Oxford, NC 27565. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, February 9, 2024 at 2pm at Peace's Chapel Baptist Church, 4044 Fairport Road, Kittrell, NC 27544.
