Terry Albert Obituary

Terry Adam Albert
March 11, 2022
Lake Wylie, South Carolina - Terry Adam Albert, loving husband, cherished father and grandfather, went into the Lord's arms on Friday, March 11, 2022.
Terry had a deep love for Christ, his wife, children, and grandchildren. A successful businessman, Terry enjoyed a full career, achieving the position of Sr. Vice President of Sales at American Tobacco, before leaving to pursue his culinary passions as the owner of the Somerstowne Café in Somers, NY. Later, after relocating from NY to North Carolina, Terry became a Regional Manager at Hooters, and remained there until his retirement.
Terry had a passion for politics and religion and found delight in watching politicians act like preachers, and preachers act like politicians. Both brought out extreme emotion for Terry in both fervor and tears. Sometimes Fox News would get his blood boiling and on the same night saying grace before dinner would bring tears. A fierce patriot, Terry was honored to serve in the Army during the Vietnam War.
Terry took great pride in many things, and rightly so, as he excelled in cooking, acting, playing the guitar, knowing how to use all the tools in a toolbox, along with dozens of other underrated talents. Terry led mission trips through his church, traveled the nation in his RV, knew how to hunt, fish, provide for his family and knew every square inch of the grocery store. This came in handy as Terry was ever the ultimate host. His home was always open, the doors were never locked, to anyone who needed a place to stay or wanted a delicious meal.
One of Terry's most special qualities is that he never met a stranger and could talk to anyone, anywhere, about anything. He was Mr. Fun - always loved a good party, time at the beach and spending time with family, music and friends. He loved to dance, sing and debate. His life was full to the brim with love, faith, exciting events and fascinating stories.
He took extreme delight in his ten grandchildren and loved to watch the kids play sports, act in plays, open Christmas presents, and rave over the food he made especially for them. He took them to fairs, festivals, arcades, and sports events, and the kids will never forget the memories they made together.
Terry was predeceased by his father Adam Albert, his mother, Emma Ruth Evans Albert, his brothers Erman Evans, Marvin Evans, Bill Raymond Evans, Jimmy Albert, Adam "Jr." Albert, Violet Johnson, Liz Wizorick, and Dorothy Meadows. He is survived by his loving wife, Judy Albert, sisters Goldie Sapp, and Linda Sandall, his daughter, Kelley (and Paul) Damon, their three children, Logan, Ella, and Gavin, his son Terry Jason "T.J." (and Julie) Albert, their four children, Ashley, Brandon, Zack, and Kyle; his son Scott (and Carol) Albert, their three children, Lilliana, Hailey, and Dylan; his daughter Amber (and Jim) Thomas; and former spouses, Judy Kay Bullion and Joanne Albert-Sholtis.
