He was born in Richmond, VA, Dec. 15, 2009.
He is survived by his wife Margie; three children, Thomas L. Ipock III, his wife, Betty of Chester VA, Johnnie E. Ipock, Sr. Lauren Smith, husband, Bobby of Ruffin, NC; stepson, Nick Sharpe of Sandston; grandchildren, Tabytha Smith, Johnnie E. Ipock, Jr., Isaiah Ipock and Kristinia Ipock; sisters, Jane and husband, Chet Boone of Emporia, Dell and Jon Berlinerman of Richmond, Sarah and Roger Spence of Newport, NC; brothers, Edward and Tammy Ipock of Gloucester, James and Glenda Ipock of Oklahoma City, George and Sandy Ipock of Midlothian, Charles and Laura Ipock of Elizabeth City, NC.
A memorial service will be held 3:00 p.m. Monday, February 16, 2009 at Campbell's Creek United Methodist Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to spinal cord injury, Mayo Clinic Dept. of Development, 200 1st St. SW Rochester, MN 55905.

Daddy, I will miss you, you are my world, and will remain in my heart until we meet again in the kingdom of heaven. until then, I will teach your grandaughter everything about you and tell her often about what a wonderful person you were.

Remember this every time you pass
that little penny in the parking lot.
We usually think of it as Good
Luck but here’s another version that
makes me think of Pennies in another way:
I found a penny today
Just lying on the ground.
But it’s not just a penny,
This little coin I’ve found.
Found pennies come from Heaven,
that’s what I’ve been told.
He said Angels toss them down.
They say when an Angel misses you;
they toss a penny down –
Sometimes just to cheer you up,
To make a smile out of your frown.
So, don’t pass by that penny again
especially when you’re feeling blue.
It may be a penny from heaven that
an Angel’s tossed to you.
