Mr. Birkin was a wonderful help when it came to working on our class gift in college at Meredith (Class of 1987). He had an evident passion for what he did. May the Peace of Christ go forward with his family!

Vergean and I worked together at Meredith for many years. I turned to him with all of my questions about gardening. He was always ready to assist and took pleasure in sharing his knowledge and experience. My prayers will accompany the family.
