My condolences to all Bill's family and friends. Bill & I were Best of friends back in Bel Air Middle School. We played guitars and jammed during music class. The teacher gave us a separate room to jam in because we were a little to loud for the regular class!!! We had a lot of good times. Thank you Rhonda for putting up with us while we jammed in Bill's Bedroom all night!

My heart breaks for your family Bill, I only spent a couple of years with you as a punk kid helper but I think of you often. It's been over 20 years since I saw you last, I didn't know it then, but you taught me how to deal with people on the job but more importantly, people off the job. you gave me a living, but more importantly, you taught me how to be a man. Thank you Bill

Bill was a fun loving, kind person. I had no idea that he was sick. I will always remember the laughs that we all shared and the crazy pictures he loved to stage at my expense. I never saw him without a smile on his face. That speaks volumes about his outlook on life! His kindness, his laughter and his love of life will be missed by all. Prayers and blessings. Rest in peace my friend! Enjoy the ride!

What can I say about Bill? A friend, yes. But he was so much more.
A brother that I never had, sharing good times and bad. Doing all the things a brother does, helping, hindering, coming to the rescue, laughing at you, laughing with you, laughing at himself, getting you into trouble, getting himself into trouble, getting you both out of trouble.
Being friends with your friends, even if he didn't like them. Taking you on adventures, never knowing where they might end. Following you on your adventures knowing how they would end, good or bad. Getting mad at you, getting you mad at him, getting glad with you, making you glad. Doing things his own way, even if everyone disagreed, and somehow, making it work.
Bill taught me that you could do anything if you put your mind to it and worked hard for it. From the moment we met in school discussing music and began to play music together in an open garage behind his home, we discovered a language that needed no words. We both kept exploring the wonderful complexities of that language over and over throughout the years. First one style of language, then another. Sharing, teaching, learning and admiring. Just a couple of weeks before he left us, after hearing me play at Farm Jam (an event he worked on tirelessly for years, securing and promoting bands and performing as well) he remarked You've learned some new licks! Bill had just played a set on the other stage that had so many people in front of it, I could barely make my way near enough to take a few pictures. His guitar sounded otherworldly. Bill never ceased to amaze me at what he could accomplish on guitar, from the incredibly complex, to the marvelously sublime, simple nuances. Bill always tried to bring out the best in all the musicians he encountered.
Bill was a free spirit, always taking the road he wanted and never veering from it until he had explored every facet he desired. Whether that was music, martial arts, electrical knowledge or riding motorcycles, he persevered and overcame.
To Bill's family and loved ones, thank you for sharing Bill with me. Please know that I feel the same immense sorrow, and emptiness as you.
So, what can I say about Bill? A friend, yes. But he was so much more. See you in the next world, Brother.
