Adam J. Douskey, 82, of New Preston, passed away on December 2nd, 2024 peacefully. Adam was born on January 12th, 1942 to Adam J. Douskey Sr., and Marion Ett Douskey. In 1960 Adam met his sweetheart Iona and went on to have 2 children, Lisa Corna, and Michael Douskey. Adam enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching sports and Relaxing out on the porch watching his beloved birds.
Adam was predeceased by his parents Adam and Marion. His siblings Kathy, Bobby, Nelson Douskey. His son Michael and grandson Jeffery Linke.
Adam is survived by his beloved wife Iona Douskey, sisters Rita Sumervile of New Milford and Maryann Lundberg of Washington, CT, daughter Lisa Corna of SC daughter-in-law Jill Douskey of New Preston and 5 amazing grandchildren and 5 beautiful great-grandchildren.
Services will be on Saturday, December 14 at graveside, located at Underwood Cemetery Mygatt Rd., Washington, CT at 11:00 a.m.

Very sorry to hear about Adam´s passing, he was a good friend and a great neighbor, and I remember how he helped me get a job at Kimberly Clark, it was so nice working with him and his son Mike. They will both missed.
