Uncle MIke was the brother of my Grandfather, Anthony Gaboardi of Bethel. Many, many memories of him. Every year at the Danbury Fair, we would find the big white barn with the chickens on top. That was where He would be, smiling and working on the fair grounds great figures I loved so much. From the giant farmer to the little woman dressed to their native land dispalyed through out the grounds. This was a ritual every year for the life of the fair and seeing Uncle Mike. He will be missed.
