Anna Dwy Obituary
Anna (Gawel) Dwy of New Milford, CT. passed away on May 29, 2018 at New Milford Hospital.
A lifelong resident of New Milford, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Agnes (Zuba) Gawel. Anna was married to Ervin Dwy for 50 years and he preceeded her in death in 1997.
She is survived by three children, daughter Lois Bean of Fairview, NC, sons Ervin Bud and daughter-in-law Stacia of New Milford and David and daughter-in-law Vivian of Cornwell Village; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday June 1, 2018 at 11 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Church, New Milford. Burial will follow at St. Francis Cemetery, New Milford. Family and friends are welcome to gather at St. Francis Church Hall for refreshments. There will be no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be sent to NMVNA Hospice, 68 Park Lane Road, New Milford, CT 06776

She was absolutely one of my favorite peiple. I loved her sense of humor and kind heart. Every Christmas when I carefully unwrap the Presidential ornaments she gave me over several years, I remember how very special she was to me.

Anna was such a wonderful person. I will always remember her quick wit and kind ways. Every time I take out my Christmas decorations and see the ornaments that she gave me, I think of her fondly and will continue to do so. She will be missed. My deepest condolences to the family.
