Dearest Amy, Hank, and Richard , I am so sorry of the loss of your father Charlie and just finding out about your mother Judy. I knew your mother in High School and met Charlie through her. We did alot of business together over the years. I never met you Amy, and Hank, but I was there when your mother had Richard your first brother. I remember what a wonderful mother she was and what a beautiful wedding your parents had. They had a wonderful life together..I pray they are together and may they rest in peace. I'm sure they are watching over you both to support your journeys. God bless.

There is so much I would like to say. I learned so much from Charlie. His approach to his business was so much like my Father's, who also passed just a couple short weeks ago. I feel so fortunate to have known this man, to have spent a few hours talking with him over his counter at the Division Plumbing store. He was so generous with his knowledge and advice. He helped me through so many challenges with my homes. I will miss him greatly.

Goodbye, my friend

I am so sorry to hear of Charlie´s passing. My husband and I loved to visit him at the store. We´d bring coffee and chat about our lives (or plumbing issues if they were going on, and of course he always had the answer). He was a great man, so patient and kind, a gentle soul, and a good friend to all. We especially loved to hear him talk about his granddaughter, how he enjoyed his time with her. I´m so glad we got that feature story about him and his business in The News-Times all those years ago. It was fun to see it hanging in a frame on the wall inside Division Street Plumbing. We´d look at it and talk about Danbury back in the day. Charlie will be missed. That´s for sure. We are honored to have known him.

To the Knapp family, It is sad to of read that Charles has passed. I met him about 40 years ago gave him polish Kabosy and he never forgot me. He was a very helpful person and knew his trade. He would what someone was trying to fix and walk them through it No matter who it was. just a great person. I don't think there will ever be anyone around that gave so much of himself as he did. With that said I light this candle in hope that it lights his way on new journey and gives his Family and friends the warmth and comfort on this sad day. R.I.P.

A Customer....

March 13, 2022

I was one of many customers...This man was honest and had integrity - always helpful to me. I needed plumbing parts 4 times and each time I went to his store. I believe Mr.Knapp had more knowledge in his industry than everybody in the Danbury area combined. But more importantly, he was an inspiration that there are still good men out there. I am sorry for your loss.

Charlie was the best. Always willing to help with as plumbing part. Even if he didn't have the part, he'd sent you in the right direction. I'll miss him. Rest in peace Charlie.
