Herman Fuchs Obituary
New Milford: Herman M. Fuchs, 94, a former resident of New Milford, CT died Saturday, March, 23, 2024 at Ayer Valley Rehab and Nursing in Ayer, MA. Mr. Fuchs was born in Stamford, CT, December 16, 1929, a son of John E. and Anna (Berry) Fuchs and resided over twenty years in Searsport and Belfast, ME before moving to Massachusetts in 2011.
Mr. Fuchs had worked as a paper plant technician at Kimberly Clark Paper Company in New Milford, CT retiring in 1984. He enjoyed walking, time with his family and sports, especially auto racing.
He leaves his son, Robert J. Fuchs of Pepperell; his sister, Elizabeth Gordon of Crystal River, FL, two grandchildren, Cheyenne Fuchs and Brianna Fuchs; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his daughter Debra Fuchs-Young of Bixby, OK in April 2017 and was the brother of the late Eleanor Fuchs, Emron Fuchs and John Fuchs. Memorial services will be private, and the family will celebrate Herman's life at a later date.
The Anderson Funeral Home, 250 Main Street, (Rte 119) Townsend, MA is assisting the family with arrangements.

Herman and family were good family friends.
Memories of times spent with Herman, Helen, Robbie and Debbie are rolling through my mind.
Herman was a good friend to my father and mother, I knew him as kind and soft spoken and Herman was not afraid to speak up if he had something to say.
Both our families shared a Virginia Beach vacation one year, I remember it well and a weekend in Rhode Island.
May Robbie and family members find strength and comfort in their memories of good times...
