Isabelle Utter Obituary

Isabelle C. Utter Isabelle C. Utter, age 89, of Southbury, formerly of Danbury, passed away peacefully at her home, on Friday, July 10, 2009. Isabelle was born in Danbury, daughter of the late Francis and Bertha (Marcinek) Bigham. She was raised in Brewster, NY and graduated from Brewster High School. She returned to Danbury where she lived until joining her daughter in Southbury, four years ago. She had been a member of St. Joseph Church. She is survived by her daughter, Catherine Marquis, of Southbury, two sisters, Anna Lovell, of Brookfield and Bertha Abbotts, of Vt.;, a brother, Kenneth Bigham, of Oxford; a sister-in-law, Dora Bigham, of Danbury; three grandchildren, Gary Marquis, Scott Marquis and wife, Marlene and Chris Marquis and wife, Sara; five great-grandchildren, Colby, Kiely, Loren, Michael and Andrew Marquis; and a great-great-grandchild, Evan Marquis, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Francis Bigham. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph Church, Danbury, on Tuesday morning at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery. Friends may call at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, on Monday evening from 5 to 8 p.m.

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
