Dubray, John J.
John Joseph Dubray, age 60 of Bethlehem, passed away unexpectedly on March 22, 2017 at Hartford Hospital after sustaining injuries from a construction accident. He was the beloved husband of Jeanne Auclair Dubray.
John was born September 11, 1956 in New Milford, CT the son of Geneva Goodbou Dubray of Kent and the late John A. Dubray. He was the oldest of nine children. What was most important to John was his family. He was a devoted and loving husband and cherished time spent with his wife. He loved his mother very much, relying on her love, wisdom and courage during all events in his life, good and bad. He treasured and was so proud of his large loving family. He was also devoted to his kitties, which were his beloved children.
He is predeceased by his much loved father, John A. Dubray and brother, Matthew Dubray. John also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, several great nieces and a great-nephew. In addition to his wife Jeanne of 39 years and his mother Geneva, John is survived by his siblings: Ricky Dubray and his wife Karen of Ancramdale, NY; Jason Dubray and his wife, Jenny; Jeremy Dubray and his wife, Crystal; Joseph Dubray and his wife, Sue; Tonya Dubray Sterry and her husband, John; Trudy Dubray-Fuehrer and Carrie Dubray, all of Kent.

I miss you every minute of every day. I can't believe it's been 6 years on 3/22/23 since you kissed me goodbye as you left for work. A moment ago, a million years ago. I will love you forever. Your wife, Jeanne.

Sorry it took so long in sending a lite candle your way to keep you out of the dark... I know that you're aware that I light a candle for you along with Dad, Matthew, and Mark at home. As you know, Mom and Jeanne have had it tough; your passing has left a big hole in our life, hearts and family. Please don't worry as Trudy and I are with Mom daily and between Jennifer daily and Trudy, Mom and me, we keep close contact with Jeanne. She has a lot on her plate and misses you so much, you were her world. But know that we're family and will never be out of reach, help and thoughts, so NO worries my brother.Do you remember back in the days when you and Rick worked for Pops, I believe you were 12 or thirteen and one day Dad came home so proud telling Mom what the truck drivers (who came to have their trucks loaded with land-fill) said. They said to Pops, he (meaning you) were better at operating the backhoe and filling the trucks than men his age. Boy was Dad puffed up... There's so many good memories... I thank God for them...I love you John and miss you... May you keep Dad, Matthew and Mark company along with Uncle Leonard, Grammy and Pappy and all of our other family members - you're in GOOD company. I Love you with all my heart, hugs and kisses, your No. 1 sister, catch you later my bro...

I will miss you forever. We have been together since I was 16 and you were 19, we were supposed to grow old together. Not having children, we were each other's world. I am so sorry you didn't get to retire and have all the fun adventures we wanted. You worked hard your whole life since you were 12 and longed for the days we could be together all day every day, finally able to just enjoy life.... my love, my light is gone
