Kevin Foley Obituary
Kevin Foley, of Norwalk, Connecticut, sadly passed away Thursday, December 8, 2022 at the New York Presbyterian Hospital. Kevin was born on April 14, 1961 and raised in Danbury, CT, later moving to Westport and then finally Norwalk.
Kevin, who loved his family and was loved by them, was predeceased by his mother, Barbara Foley. Left to cherish his memory are his life partner and best friend, Patricia Campbell; his father, James Foley; his brother and wife, James and Elisabeth Foley; his sister and husband, Katherine and Roy Scheunemann; his thirteen nieces and nephews who he adored, and an extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In 1982, Kevin and his older brother Jim, founded Foley's Pump Service. Together, they grew their family business into a successful company they could be proud of and a name trusted by all. Kevin loved the pump business and was well known in the industry for his incredible mechanical skills, as they were truly unmatched.
Kevin truly lived life to the fullest. He loved boating, fast cars, and traveling, usually on or around water, sunshine, and food. Kevin was an avid New York Giants fan. He was the ultimate host and loved creating new recipes to share with family and friends. However, most important to Kevin were the people in his life. The center of his world was Pat, for whom his deep love and devotion were extraordinary. His friends and family, including his dear Foley's Pump Family, and anyone who was lucky enough to meet him, are all better off today for having had Kevin in their lives. He will be deeply missed. Patty, I am so sorry (and shocked!) to hear about Kevin. It doesn't seem possible that he's gone. He was the light of your life and everyone who came in contact with him. Being next door neighbors to you guys for years on Candlewood Lake was one of the highlights of my life. I'll never forget the fun we had, and Kevin and I racing on the lake with our boats. I knew Kevin in my youthful years. While we were not related, we shared the same last name. He was the King Street Foley, we were the East Lake Foley's. Some people make an impression on you in your life. Kevin left an impression as always a kind, gentle person. I am so sorry to have learned of his passing. He was truly a standout human being. Dear Foley family, I´m shocked and saddened to hear about Kevin´s passing. He was a childhood friend and neighbor. I remember our neighborhood antics with the other neighborhood kids.
