Nicholas Rozdilsky Obituary

Nicholas Rozdilsky, Jr.
In the words of Dr. Seuss, "Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened." With that spirit, we celebrate the colorful life of Nicholas Rozdilsky Jr., or as we fondly called him, simply Nick, who began his journey in Bridgeport, CT on the 27th of June, 1942. Nick was a man of many interests, but his passion for drag racing, computers, food, vodka, and storytelling made him a man you would never forget. He was, in essence, a compassionate soul, a funny storyteller, a loving father, and a loyal friend.
Through his 32-year-long career at Branson Ultrasonics, Nick was known as a committed manager who led his team with a style as unique as his taste in vodka. His time at Branson Ultrasonics was not just a job, but a testament to his dedication and loyalty. Post retirement, Nick continued to enjoy his love for cars, gadgets, and of course, telling stories. He could make you laugh, think, and question all in the span of a single story. His tales often brought the past to life with his quirky sense of humor. He was a man who lived his life to the fullest, savoring every drop of experience, just like his favorite vodka.
Nick's love for his family knew no bounds. Surviving him are his sons Thomas, Nicholas III, and Christopher Rozdilsky; his brother, Joseph Rozdilsky; his four grandchildren, and his ex-wife, Theodora Rozdilsky. Though he now joins his parents, Nicholas and Zina Rozdilsky, we know his spirit will continue to live and laugh with us. In his memory, we will carry on his passion for life, his love for family, and his knack for humor.
To quote Mark Twain, "The fear of death follows from the fear of life. A man who lives fully is prepared to die at any time." Nick lived fully and left us with memories filled with laughter and love. We invite you to share your memories and photos of Nick on his memorial page, as we remember a man who truly knew how to live. I have known Nick for many years. I will remember the night we went bowling where the Home Depot is now. It was snowing when we got out. Nick put the car in first gear, let the clutch out, and we both got out to push the car, hop back in and took off. The Dover drag strip days, a lot of good times.
