Rose Testanero Obituary
Rose Testanero, 89, of Danbury, CT died at Danbury Hospital on May 6, 2021. She was born in Danbury in 1931, daughter of Joseph and Mary Gigliotti. Rose was predeceased by her husband, Angelo Testanero, a/k/a Sonny Carroll of the Sonny Carroll Orchestra.
Rose will be sadly missed by her daughter Diane Fenwick and her husband William, her son Vincent Testanero and longtime partner Betty Schleicher, brother-in-law Jack Testanero, Rose's two caregivers Alicia Jones and Katie Calderon, as well as, her many nieces and nephews and her neighbors Micheal and Betty Ann Medeiros.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 14, 2021 at St Joseph Church, 370 Main St., Danbury. To leave an online condolence or light a candle in Rose's memory, please visit www.CornellMemorial.com

Sweet Rosie how you will be missed. I remember you in King St school when I was little and then finding out you lived on our street. I will forever remember growing up and riding my bike to your house to listen to Angelo and the band practice and just sitting in your yard with the neighborhood kids just listening. I will remember the Halloween nights that you would get so happy to see me and invite me in and we would have a great laugh and catch up. I’m sorry as I got older we didn’t see each other much except in passing. Rest Easy you wonderful woman!!
