Don Brandau, 58, of Ohio, IL, passed away at OSF in Peoria, IL on April 21, 2025.
He was born in Princeton, IL on May 3, 1966 to the late Richard C. Brandau and Nancy (Stocking) Brandau of Ohio, IL. He was preceded in death by his father; his sister, Kim Brandau; and his grandparents. He is survived by his mother, Nancy Brandau; two brothers, Chuck of Virgil, IL and Joe of Travelers Rest, S.C.; two sisters, Cindy Yandel of Sheffield and Becky (Steve) Piano of Princeton; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He farmed the family farm in Ohio, IL after the death of his father. He was registered as an organ donor for the state of Illinois. "Gift of Hope Organ &Tissue Donor" handled this process.
Services will be held at the First Lutheran Church of Ohio. The visitation is Friday, April 25th from 9:30 A.M until the time of service at 11:00 A.M. Pastor Lori Whalen, Pastor at First Lutheran will preside.

So very sorry for you loss. Don often stopped by in his truck to visit my son Zander in Ohio. He talked to him almost daily. Zander made sure to draw him pictures and would always light up when he saw his truck coming down the road. Their laughs will never be forgotten. Prayers to all his family and friends.
