Heather Endicott Obituary

Heather (Mix) Endicott
Born: October 18, 1982
Died: January 2, 2024
Heather (Mix) Endicott, 41, of Peru, passed away after an extended illness on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at OSF Heart of Mary Medical Center in Urbana, IL.
Visitation for Heather will be held Tuesday, January 9th, at the Barto Funeral Home in Spring Valley, from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM, with a prayer service beginning at 7:00 PM. Cremation will be accorded following services.
Heather was born on October 18, 1982 in Spring Valley to James and Kathy (Perino) Mix. She married Nathan Endicott on April 20, 2020.
Heather was a C.N.A. and had worked at various Illinois Valley nursing homes. She had most recently been at the Illinois Veteran's Home in LaSalle. Heather was a "people-person" and an extremely hard worker, who was always a joy to be around. She especially loved animals. Even though she was very sick, she always maintained a positive attitude. She enjoyed trips to the family cabin in Wisconsin, where she loved spending time by the river and swimming with her dog. She enjoyed kayaking and canoeing with Nathan as well.
Survivors include her husband, Nathan, of Peru; her parents, Jim and Kathy Mix, of Princeton; her brother, Ryan (Sarah) Mix, of Spring Valley; her in-laws, Larry and Ruth Endicott of LaSalle; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; and her beloved pets, Gilligan, Norman, and Cupcake.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents and great grandparents.
Memorials may be directed to the family, Illinois Valley Animal Rescue, or Friends of Strays.
A guestbook may be signed and memories shared with the family by visiting bartofh.com.

What can I say about somebody who is the best person I’ve ever met Heather you always had a smile on your face. You always made me laugh. You always there for me In my time of need. I don’t think I’ll ever ever meet anyone ever again like you. I’m sad that our time has ended sooner than expected, but I’m glad to have had you in my life at all, I’ll see you again. I love you.

Heather has broken our hearts by her passing but has showed us all the generosity and compassion she had during her life. She bravely became an organ donor, and will live on by donating. Because of her, others lives will forever change for the better. That´s who Heather was

The best drummers wife... Heather was loyal to her husband and animals. She love her nieces and her best friend. Loyal to her friends. Her love for Nate never wavered and she always hyped him up when he sang. She designed many flyers with me and always always was down to have our company. It's strange how the world is going to be without her.

Heather gained her wings, she was already an angel to work with. She was such a free spirit, always caring for those who needed her. Always a smile, always a kind person.
