Nicholas J. Davis, Sr., 31
LAUREL, Del. - Nicholas J. Davis, Sr. was called home unexpectedly, on February 20, 2022. Nicholas was born September 8, 1990, in Baltimore, Maryland, to Kimberlee Davis and Charles Davis.
Nicholas was a one-of-a-kind soul who brought light to everyone's path he crossed. He was so excited and proud to start his new journey as a father and the bright future he had ahead of him.
Nicholas was preceded in death by his father, Charles Davis; and his maternal grandfather, Joseph Koennig.
Nicholas leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Kimberlee Davis; maternal grandparents, Barbara and Charles Wise; grandmother, Beverly Wilke; paternal grandparents, Pearl and Tom Guinn and James and Cathy Davis; sister, BreeAnna Galarneau; niece and nephew, Erica Stewart and Jaxson Wheeler. He also leaves behind a son, Nicholas Davis, Jr.; as well as multiple aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
There will be a viewing on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Bennie Smith Funeral Home, 437 N. Front Street, Seaford, DE 19973, followed by a memorial luncheon at St. Phillips Episcopal Church, 600 S. Central Avenue, Laurel, Delaware 19956 from 2 to 5 p.m. All are welcome.
