Ruth Ann Argo went home to be with the "LORD" on Saturday, October 23, 2021. She was the daughter of the late Howard Everett Argo and Mildred Heath Argo.
Ruth Ann was a member of Old Paths Church of Christ in Georgetown, Del. where she was active. Ruth Ann was a loving, family-oriented person, participating with family functions and holidays. She was also gifted with the Argo talent of cooking. Ruth Ann's hobby was ceramics that she shared with family and friends.
Ruth Ann was of the graduating class of 1958 Milford High School in Milford, Del. She then started her long working career until she was 75. She began at Wharton & Barnard Auto Parts Distributors, then on to Brown P. Thawley Chrysler, Plymouth, International Trucks and Farm Equipment for many years. After a short stint with Delaware Pulp Wood Company, she closed her working career with Kirby & Holloway Provision Company in Harrington, Del.
Ruth Ann is survived by her siblings, Gladys Argo, Sallie Metzner (Roland), Donald Argo (Kathy), Ronald Argo (Kaye), and David Argo; as well as many nephews and nieces.
In addition to her parents; Ruth Ann was preceded in death by her older sister, Ellen Sapp; brother, Everett Argo; sister, Doris Clegg; and brother, Clifford Argo.
Funeral services for Ms. Argo will be held on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at 12 p.m. at Old Paths Church, 18295 Redden Rd., Georgetown, DE 19947. A time of visitation will begin at 11 a.m.
