Knowing Ruth has been a great joy. We met through slaughter beach fire house many years ago. She always called me her daughter as she did many people. My children were greatly saddened by her passing. For such a little body she had a heart as big as the earth itself. I will always smile at the memories instilled in my heart. We have lost a great friend. God has a special place in heaven just for her. We love and miss her.

A very special, kind lady has gone from this life...but never from our hearts. I lovingly called her "Aunt Roofie" and that always brought a smile! Aunt Ruth was a precious lady who was quick to give you a call just to say..."How are you doing baby" I will miss those calls! We will always love you Aunt Ruth.

I had the pleasure of having worked with Ruth at the Base Commissary. She was always a cheerful, kind and loving individual. I will always remember her as a hard working dedicated person, who loved her job and her co-workers. I have enjoyed her friendship over the years and she will be missed. RIP Ruth.

While I was growing up, RuthAnn was my sitter. Her family treated me like I was one of their own. She will be missed but never, ever forgotten. Rest in peace.

She was "Aunt Ruth" even if she wasn't your real aunt to everyone. She always had a hug for you and was so glad to see you. She never let anything stop her, she had a great spirit and will be missed.
