Suzanne Elizabeth 'Sue' Jones Kennedy, 55 EASTON, Md. - Suzanne Elizabeth "Sue" Jones Kennedy, of Easton, went to be with her savior on Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2008. She was 55. Born on July 9, 1953, in Chestertown, to the late James Henry Jones Sr. and Mary Ellen Newcomb Jones. She graduated Kent County High School class of 1971. Sue worked with Dixon Valve and Coupling Company and took college courses at Chesapeake College and Washington College. She worked with Dixon Valve and Coupling for 13 years. She was also well known for working behind the bar at the Blue Bird Tavern in Chestertown. On Sept. 23, 1995, she married Harold J. Kennedy Jr. of Chestertown. Sue was a member Bethlehem Wesleyan Church, Bethlehem. She enjoyed traveling, loved the Ocean and the beach. Sue was a devoted wife mother and grandmother. She enjoyed fishing, knitting, gardening and bicycle riding. Her high spirited, joyful and loving personality will be deeply missed. In addition to her husband, Harold Kennedy, she is survived by, two daughters, Melanie Coleman of Warwick, and Shawne Beaver and her fiancé John Davis of Preston; a stepdaughter, Elizabeth Ann Kennedy of Federalsburg; two brothers, James Henry Jones Jr. of Centreville, and David Urie Jones Sr. of Centreville; two grandchildren, Lexi and Nichole; as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday in Fellows, Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home, 130 Speer Road, Chestertown, where friends and family may call from noon-2 p.m. Interment will be at Chester Cemetery. Arrangements by Fellows, Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made at www.fhnfuneralhome.com.
