Agnes Cusano of East Haven passed away peacefully on May 31, 2024 at CT Hospice in Branford. She was born in New Haven on July 10, 1923 and was 100 years old. She was the wife of the late Henry Cusano Sr. and the mother of the late John Cusano Sr. She is survived by (daughter in law) Ruth (Gonsalves) Cusano, and son Harry Cusano and family of NY. She also leaves grandchildren, Deneen (Cusano) Mackey, Laura Ann Cusano, John Cusano Jr., Deborah (Thomas) Angelo, and Nicholas Cusano, 7 great-grandchildren Cameron Mackey, Amanda Mackey, Chloe Cusano, Kyle Cusano, Tyler Angelo, Trevor Angelo, Olivia Angelo, and one great-great-grandchild Luca Roach.
Her funeral will leave the Celentano Funeral Home, 424 Elm St., New Haven Thursday morning at 10:15 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Vincent de Paul Church, East Haven at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery, 280 Derby Ave., West Haven. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 9-10 a.m.
