Dad, I miss your wisdom, humor and our talks. I also miss you telling me to "get your Bible" so we could go over scriptures that you wanted to share/discuss. I miss you so much, but I have comfort in knowing that you are with the Lord.

It just seems like yesterday since our beloved Pastor Al went home to be with the Lord. We miss his words of wisdom, his to-the-point directness, his caring nature and the candies. We also miss his ability to interact with the youth. Our prayers are with you during this time of remembrance and beyond.

Pastor Al was a kind, generous, caring, man of integrity. He did no compromise the word of God in any way; and spoke the truth without fear or favor. History was his second passion as he loved teaching and learning. We will always be grateful for his leadership and wisdom. May your hearts be encouraged in knowing that he is home with God because he has completed his mission. May the God of all comfort grant you peace.
