Andrea Nagy Smith

SMITH, ANDREA NAGY Andrea Nagy Smith, 49, left this life in the hope of the resurrection October 16, 2012. Born in Milwaukee, WI on January 27, 1963 to Miklos and Anne Wendt Nagy, she grew up in Shaker Heights, OH, graduated from Smith College and received a PhD in English from the University of Virginia. She helped edit the New Oxford American Dictionary and taught English as a Fulbright Fellow at the University of Skopje in Macedonia before joining the Yale School of Management where she created case studies. She is survived by her husband, Paul Andrew Smith, her sister, Eleanor Nagy, her brother Alex Nagy, and her parents. Andrea was a beloved wife and a dear friend. Her bright, thoughtful presence and humor will be missed. A funeral will be held at St. John's Episcopal Church, New Haven on Saturday, October 20 at 2:00pm.
