Charles Hubon, 90, passed peacefully at home on June 28, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in New Haven, CT on June 11, 1934 to the late Charles F. Hubon and Margaret (Kiernan) Hubon. Charles is survived by his beloved wife and soulmate, Rose (Torino) Hubon, to whom he was married for 69 years. Charles is also survived by his daughters, Janet (Scott) Stratton, Loraine (Gary) Bennard, and Colleen Spaziani, and his foster son, Vincent DeLucia. He was predeceased by his infant son, Charles Francis Hubon. He is also survived by seven grandchildren: Mallory, Cameron, and MacKenzie Stratton, Brianna (Volpe), Tyler and Jenna Bennard, and Americo Spaziani. He was the brother of Joan Rossell, Elizabeth Festa, Patricia Dias, and Kathy Hubon. Charles was predeceased by his sister, MaryLou Pedone, brother, John (Jack) Hubon and brothers-in-law, Fred Rossell, Salvatore Festa, and Ed Pedone. Charles served in the National Guard. He used his lifelong experience in construction to help anyone and everyone in need on projects big and small, day or night. He was the one everyone called. His family and friends will cherish their memories of their adventures, whether tinkering in his garage woodshop, singing silly songs, riding on his motorbike, his pickup truck, or tractor rides in the Hundred Acre Woods. Family and friends may call on Monday, July 1, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at The B.C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 S. Elm Street, Wallingford, CT.
