SCHWARTZ, CHARLES Charles Schwartz, 73, of Cheshire, died on July 13, 2015 at the Connecticut Hospice in Branford. He was the loving husband of Nancy (Garman) Schwartz. He was born on April 20, 1942 in West Haven and was the son of the late Herman and Margaret (Kramer) Schwartz. His parents were longtime concessionaires at the old Savin Rock Amusement Park. Charlie spent much of his childhood there, and loved to share his memories about Savin Rock. Beloved father of Steven Schwartz of Staten Island, NY and Robyn (Jeffrey) Fritz of Boston, MA. Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday July 15, 2015 at 12:00 o’clock (Noon) at the Robert E. Shure Funeral Home, 543 George St., New Haven, CT. A period of mourning will be held following the service until 8 pm at the family’s home at 10 Sutton Place, Cheshire.
