Christopher Clary, 81, of Orange, CT, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, May 7, 2017. He was born in Washington D.C. to the late James and Janie Brooks Clary on February 12, 1936. He was employed at Farrel Inc., Ansonia, CT as a welder for many years, and was a member of Varick Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church and the Elks 1325 Goodwill Lodge, Waterbury, CT. Christopher leaves to cherish his memory, loving wife, Rose "Bea" Clary; daughters, Roxanne Hayes and Michele (Charlie) Clary-Butler; sisters, Inez Hofler and Irma Patrick; grandchildren, Ashley (Quavon) Newton and Christopher Butler; and a host of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his brothers, Bernice Clary, James Clary, Melvin Clary, and Richard Clary. A celebration of life will take place Monday, May 15, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Varick Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church, 242 Dixwell Ave, New Haven, CT 06511. Friends may call Monday at the church from 9:00 – 11:00 AM. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery, New Haven. Services by Howard K.
