Mr. and Mrs. Gilmore, Gilmore family and friends, I am so sorry to have just heard of Chris's passing. I have very fond childhood memories of playing neighborhood pickup basketball games and driveway hockey with Chris. He would always stick up for me being the younger kid. May God bless.

Uncle Chris,

Words cannot express how much you will be missed by myself, Justin, and Gavin. Our lives were made better by having known you. I remember being a little girl and making money off giving you foot rubs. I recall so many family vacations and hiking adventures that made up my childhood...you are a huge part of my memories and always will be. I feel blessed to have developed a different relationship with you during my adulthood. one in which I began to understand the challenges you encountered and fought to overcome. I pray that you know I loved you and valued our time together. I regret that Gavin did not have as long with you, I know he would've had so much fun with you. Thank you for always being there for us. Even though you didn't like crowds or parties, you were by our side on our wedding day and the first to show and last to leave at Gavin's christening. I know you did that for me and it meant the world to me. I hope you know that you made this world a better place and you will be deeply missed by all the lives you touched with your kindness, spirit, and humor. May you find peace.

Dear Chris,

Words cannot express how saddened we are with your passing. You will always hold a special place in our hearts, especially your nephews'. They wanted to say a few things that they loved about you:

Thomas (6), You were the best at filling up water balloons. I liked throwing them at your car to give it a car wash. You were good at throwing us on the slip and slide. I iked eating at Culvers with you. I liked how I could hear you snore through the vent. I love you.

Owen (4), I loved going in grandpa's truck with Chris. I loved when I went with Chris and Greg to Valley Fair. Chris would make me laugh when he would throw underwear at me. I miss Chris
