Christopher Meier

MEIER, CHRISTOPHER Christopher Sears Meier, age 39, of Milford, Ct. entered into Heaven on Nov. 30, 2012. Christopher lost a courageous battle against brain cancer. He died in Ct. Hospice with his beloved family by his side. Christopher was employed by Sikorsky Aircraft. Prior to Sikorsky, he was a floor manager at Sears Hardware. He was a graduate of the Connecticut Institute of Art. He was a creative artist, a kind and loving soul, a "gentle giant" of a man, a witty humorist, and an avid fisherman. His deepest love was for his entire family, and he will be greatly missed. Christopher is survived by his beloved wife, Destiny Meier of Milford; his cherished parents, George and Donna Meier, of Stratford; brother George Meier and his wife, Lauren, of Oxford; sister Melanie Meier Talbot and her husband, Jason Talbot, of Stratford; his four nieces and nephews, Madison, Kelly, Georgie, and Matthew, who were very dear to him, various aunts and uncles, and his in-laws, Philip and Donna Massaro, of Milford. Chris's ashes will be scattered on one of his most favorite spots on earth, family land in the mountains of New Hampshire. At Chris's request, there will not be any services.
