Daisy Lil Lovelace, age 72, of West Haven, beloved wife to Irvington Lovelace, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, September 2, 2018 at CT Hospice. Born in Saint Ann, Jamaica, on February 14, 1946 she was the daughter of the late Noel and Gertrude Brown. Before retirement, Daisy enjoyed a career as a registered nurse at Saint Regis Healthcare. In addition to her loving husband, Daisy is survived by her children, Peter Lovelace and Julane (Kevin) Lovelace Brown, siblings, Gloria Brown, Alzie (Harvell) Duncan, Phyllis (Ronald) Henry, and E.G. Brown. She was predeceased by five brothers.
A Visitation will be held on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the West Haven Funeral Home at the Green. A Celebration of Daisy's Life will take place on Saturday at 10 a.m. at New Life Evangelical Free Church in West Haven. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
