David P. Faulkner
In CT Hospice, October 24, 2023, David P. Faulkner, 88, of New Haven. Beloved husband of Joanne Smith Faulkner. Loving father of Carol Faulkner of Fayetteville, NY and Jill Faulkner of Los Angeles, CA. Also survived by his 3 cherished grandchildren. Predeceased by a son, James Faulkner. Mr. Faulkner was born in New Haven on March 17, 1935, son of the late Walter and Alice McGushin Faulkner. He proudly served his country during with the US Navy from 1958-1961. David graduated from Princeton University and Yale Law School. Prior to his retirement, he was an attorney with Wiggin and Dana. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph Church. Burial will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery. I remember Dave well from our high school days (Hamden High Class of 1954). I ran our class reunions every five years and did have contact with him regarding them. My sincere sympathy to you and your family.
