David Via Obituary
Pastor David O. Via Sr., born July 6, 1957 entered into final rest on May 13, 2018 at Yale New Haven Hospital. He is survived by his loving wife, Deborah Keeton-Via and four children, Daveisha Via, Shaquana Thomas, David Via, Jr., Daveanna Via, grandchildren, Sarai Gaskins, Daquan Ross, Joshawn Martin, Camryn Via, Malahn Fredlaw, and Levi Via. He is predeceased by his parents, James and Anna Lee Via, mother-in-law, Annie Lee Keeton, father-in-law Thomas Johnson, brothers, James Monroe Via and George Via, sister, Shinita Via, and granddaughter, Arianna Via. Pastor David is survived by a host of nieces, nephews and friends. A celebration of life will be held Friday May 18, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Christ Chapel New Testament Church, 220 Dixwell Ave. New Haven, CT 06511. Calling hours 9 a.m. until time of service. Interment Evergreen Cemetery. Services of comfort entrusted to McClam Funeral Home, 95 Dixwell Ave. New Haven, CT 06511.
