Dorothy Russo Obituary

RUSSO, DOROTHY Dorothy Russo, 90, formerly of Pardee Pl., East Haven died on October 18, 2010 at Connecticut Hospice. She is the wife of the late Joseph Russo. Dorothy was born in New Haven on February 7, 1920 to the late Anthony and Rose Capella Rubano. She worked as a seamstress for Robbie Lyn Dress Manufacturer in New Haven. She is survived by a daughter Dorothy "Dotty" Saccavino of East Haven, two brothers Charles Rubano of Manchester and Pat Rubano of East Haven, a sister of Rosemary Consiglio of East Haven, four grandchildren Charles (Naomi) Saccavino of Newington, Debra Saccavino of Hallendale, FL, Lisa (James) Rivard of Seminole, FL and Joseph Russo of St. Pete, FL. Also survived by four great grandsons and a son Joseph (Linda) Russo of St. Petersburg, FL. She was predeceased by two brothers Andrew and Alfred Rubano. Funeral will leave the EAST HAVEN MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 425 Main St., Thursday morning at 10:30 for a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Vincent dePaul Church at 11 o'clock. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday, (TODAY) from 4 to 7 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to CT Hospice, 100 Double Beach Rd., Branford, CT 06405.
